The awardsDistinguished Service Awards are presented to individuals in recognition of outstanding and sustained service to BCIT or to the educational community served by BCIT. The Honorary Doctor of Technology may be awarded to individuals who are widely recognized for outstanding and sustained achievements in their areas of expertise, which can include technological or business innovation, applied research, technological or trades training, entrepreneurship, health sciences, manufacturing, and environmental stewardship.
