Apply to a Program :: Apprenticeship Training
To be eligible for apprenticeship training you must be registered as an apprentice with the Industry Training Authority. Most apprenticeship training programs have entrance requirements that, while not mandatory, are recommended for success. Check your apprenticeship program's specific requirements.
Once you are a registered apprentice, you can easily register for your in-school technical training at BCIT:
Step 1: Pick a date
Consult the training schedule for your program and find a date that is suitable for both you and your employer.
Step 2: Submit your application
Complete an Apprentice Training Request Form [PDF]
Step 3: Receive notification
Within 2 weeks of submitting your training request, a letter will be mailed to your home address. This letter provides information on how to sign on to myBCIT, your one-stop shop for BCIT apprentice communication. myBCIT is where you will receive your training confirmation details. Step 4: Pay your fees
