Acceptance Timelines
Within 2 - 3 weeks of submitting your application, you will receive a mailed letter that provides details on how to access your mybcit account and start using the myCommunication tool. From this point forward, all registrar correspondence—from admissions to graduation—will be sent to your myBCIT account and accessible through the myCommunication tab. No further letters will be mailed.
Within 2 - 6 weeks of submission, your application will be assessed by an admissions officer. If you have submitted documents with your application, the admission officer will assess those documents and update your application status online. An application status letter will also be emailed to your myBCIT account via the myCommunication tool. This letter will detail missing entrance requirements, or other details as necessary, for your application to be complete.
If you submit additional documents to support your application, allow 2 - 6 weeks for an admissions officer to assess those documents, update your status and email an updated application status letter.
