Acknowledgement of Traditional Territories

Aboriginal Services acknowledges the traditional territories of the Coast Salish Nations of Tsleil-Waututh, Musqueam, Squamish, Sto:lo, and Tsawwassen on which our BCIT main campuses are located.


Astral Media Aboriginal Broadcast and Media Communications Entrance Awards

Value: Three $27,500 awards ($6,875 per term).
Eligible programs: Broadcast and Media Communications diploma
program. Options in: Broadcast and Online Journalism, Radio
or TV.

Award-specific information: Applicants must be Aboriginal
students. Preference will be given to applicants from Northern BC
communities. Should there be no eligible applicants from Northern
BC communities, applicants from other BC communities will be
considered.

Supporting Documentation:
> As part of your Personal Statement, provide details of your
residency in Northern BC or other part of BC, including the name
of your community of residence.

Application deadline: August 5, 2012
